Default Tires

I need some help....
I have a Contemproary Cobra with 15" knock offs and am having issues finding a suitable tire for use on the street with "spirited driving" in mind. I have spoken with the reps from Hoosier and Mickey Thompson and they are NOT reccommending ANY of their tires. BFG is not an option nor are Blue Streaks. Any help would be appreciated.
How much could I get for these wheels? They have 1100 miles on them. I am probably going to get 17's based on the lack of available 15 inch tires. Thanks for any help.

Default Tires

MT had some DOT approved tires to replace the 295/50/15s that are getting hard to find. There have been several people on this site write about them, do a search. Here is a link.

Hey....check out the Mickey Thompson S/R Radials.

They have an excelllent high speed rating, come the necessary 15" sizes, and look period correct (fat tire look). They also have a neat "flame tread design that is popular.
I have about 2500 miles on mine and love them, smooth at 120mph, sticky in the turns and don't pick up rocks off the road.
Good choice for me, Best of luck, Bill

Default 15" wheels

anybody want to buy 4 15" knock offs??? I need to get some 17" wheels as the 15" tire options are limited at best.

David,

I might be interested as a spare set for my CCX. I have BillBoards on the car now and a spare set of BFG's. Bare in mind that these will more than likely only fit the Contemporary cars because of the frt offset. Let me know how much you want for them. Can you send me pics of the wheels as well? I assume they are 6 pin?
