Dear Tosser....
yep, I am the former owner (built it myself!), have since replaced the car with another, but know this.... It was a Cobra I owned, unlike yer sorry arse, can't even follow your own terms in an agreement! No $5K, no Cobra! To me that is sweet bliss knowing what a jerkoff you have come off as here.
I laugh at what a loser you are in this business dealing. And know this, many on this site will make sure that your infantile responses will be posted around the globe to any future customers of yours.
Better start seeling those cars....oh and read the fine print.
You fookin Poof!

Damn, lost a post that seems to have disappeared....now found.
Mr Mustang, I have no need to lighten up.....Many have said heaps in this thread much of which involves semantics.
Firstly, Jamo posted a pic which to him was an attempt at humor. He was not to know that the posting of that pic is considered by many Australians as distasteful. Even our television stations have to broadcast a warning if they are going to show images or film of indigenous Australians. It has to do with respect of their dead.
However, to have DOUG I to comment that that that image represents some-one off his meds is of particular distaste. It represents a typical image of a proud indigenous Australian.
As is the comment that much of of the original aussie immigration had its foundation in illegal acts is totally wrong. The convicts exported to Australia were not immigrants. Immigrants came much later and were made up of many just wanting to start a new life or who were offered small fortunes to open the new land. Many were military folks immigrating to support the falling number of prison personnel/authorities as police/prison guards etc.
As to the comment ...."ahhhh the famous aussie way of making friends and influencing people.". I think I'll just let that slip thru to the keeper as it doesn't deserve a response.
Ok...semantics you may say....
Now, there has been several posts regarding reporting the original poster to the Australian Transportation Authorities......Fellas, there is no such department with jurisdiction.
Lastly, a small comment on consumer and contract law as it stands in Australia.
In Australia a deposit is generally considered refundable. Unless there is a written contract defining the 30 days and/or non refundability then in most cases the courts will rule the deposit refundable.
In some cases a judgment will reduce the refund if...and only if the seller can prove a monetary loss because of the actions/inaction/cancellation of the buyer.
In the case of car dealers.....ie purchasing a car from a car dealer. It is very rare for the courts to award a car dealer the retention of a deposit under most circumstances.
So there appears to be a great deal of difference between Australia and American consumer/contract law.
Cheers

Lewis...You are not a good listener, are you.
You made more name-calling posts after I urged you not to..
Now, you get to take a break for a few days.

I thought Lew-Ass said he was leaving and not coming back, I guess he can't follow through on anything he says. As for Australians, I have travelled many times to Australia and have never found an Australian I did not like. I am revisiting that thought now, the tally may be a few thousand to 1.

Mmm think I need to go on meds.
I thouight you guys liked us Aussies..
Hell I'm glad Lewis did not see my 'Post' number. I would have to admit to him, that I was checking gallery photos and rating them again at the airport - a great way to pass the time.
Only problem is it bumps your 'Post' number up each time you rate a photo.

Rebel...take a break from this thread (what's left of it). You're not in the right mood.
Just do it.

Three days should be good enough for "attitude adjustment"
