Californians are NOT rednecks. We're not sure what exactly they are (apart from over-taxed) but - they - are - not - rednecks.

Jamo,
Are you letting Lewis hang himself? If so, he is doing a fine job of it. I now know he really is off his meds. Maybe you might want to forward his info. off to the Aussie transportation authorities to have a "chat" with him. Maybe that will put shut him up. But don't pull the plug on this thread he is amusing in a perverse way.

Put on your glasses and read what it says, sorry if the truth hurts, but even as a "hobbyist", you are breaking the laws of your country. 7,000+ posts here, 90% of them helping people with their cars. The other 10% wasted on people like yourself who just don't get it and never will.
As for being pathetic, just look at yourself in the mirror while sitting at your desk at your shop whining about how you screwed yourself hoping to have some type of sympathy garnered yet finding that everything you have written to date has just backfired in your face. Sorry you had to attack me, even sorrier that I felt I needed to respond in like and kind. But sometimes the truth hurts even if it takes you a few days to realize it.

What's you definition of a redneck? I've never been to the South. I've only been to Southern California a dozen times, does that qualify me as a redneck?

Lewis you just don't seem to get it.
You screwed up and it cost you $5000. You come here looking for sympathy and/or support and you do this by insulting people. Has this plan ever worked for you before? I know you guys "down under" are a little different but that's just dumb.

Once again you miss the point, it's not about my face, it's about the ride itself, subtle things you notice when you look at the picture would be the wood steering wheel along with the dash and gauges of the Cobra I just happened to be driving that day. Once again you show everyone that you just don't get it and never will. I certainly hope that the rest of your life is not clouded by the same tunnelvision and lack of clarity and imagination as you have shown here.

I'll remember to tell that to my friends, some of whom may have been your customers in the past. I'm sure they will tell two people, who will tell two others and so on and so forth. Wonder how that trickle down effect will work when it crosses over to the other collectors of fine time pieces who may or may not have been your customers in the past. Hell of a way to do business, yup, hell of a way to do business indeed.

Lewis,
And who is out the $5000? You just don’t know when to call it quits.
