Put my FFR on EBay
Hi Guys and Gals,
I just decided to Ebay my FFR. Been trying to move it for awhile now and I have the sell price as low as I can go. I will still honor the price set here in the For Sale section however and will end the auction early for CC members:
http://www.clubcobra.com/classifieds...ct=965&cat=500
I have more pictures if needed.
Here is the EBay Auction as well, I lowered the "Buy It Now":
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MESE:IT&ih=003
If anyone is interested, please give me a call (585) 415-6701, PM me or send me an email.
Thanks,
Mike

Nice car. My FFR has been for sale for almost year. Started at 45k, went to 42.5k, now down to 39k and will take 35k. It is for sale here, it is the British racing green one in Edgewater, Fl. I wish you luck MJ, but the market is down due to the economy and people just don't have the money for "toys". I don't men to depress yaa.

Pander, I saw your car at Al Khami's serveral years ago and thought then it was the nicest green I'd ever seen. Do you know the exact code for that color or what car it was on?
Good luck to both of you.

Hey JM
Sorry, I do not. Did you ever call Al and ask him? I also have been kicking around the idea of selling my big block and getting a small block from Keith Craft and even putting a c4 in it. You know anyone who wants a big block built by Express Engine in Deland? I kinda hate to sell it and I am torn, I could use the cash but the car doesn't cost me anything but gas and oil, lol. Keep in touch!!

Yup,
I know. I sold a few of these things and they always go for a lot less than you need out of them. I'm flexible and don't have to sell it right away so we will see. Good thing about ebay is it does let a lot of people know the car is for sale and the cost of the ad is not bad compared to other places. Good luck on your sale as well.

I think Backdraft is doing well marketing their cars overseas. Apparently the cobra market overseas is pretty hot right now. The weakness of the dollar makes our cars a pretty good buy. I asked "how" and was told ebay was the best way but you might want to look into some foreign language sites as well - could really open up your market of buyers. There are plenty of guys around here that can provide advice on how to deal with the particulars of a foreign sale like that.
Pander, send me details about the motor and if I run into anyone I will mention it to them.

95% of the asking price is for the decal.

The only problem with selling over seas is how our vehicles are registered. In Germany, the vehicles have to be registered as 1973 or older. My FFR is registered in Fl as a 2002 FFR. I looked at trying to get a title showing a 65 Ford but they may cost $1000 or more. Does anyone know any countries that besides Germany that these cars are selling well without the registration issues?

I think it needs carpeting though, most of these buyers are comparing FFR's to SPF's and the 4000 continuation series. GREAT COLOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
