First pictures!
Fresh paint, taken today while still in the booth baking. Tried to post the pictures in the thread, but have not figured that out yet, I got them in my gallery so take a look and let me know what you think. Will start to add some pics of the build and as it gets completed.
Approaching one more milestone.

They are all Ford colors from a 2006 / 2007 paint chip book.
The burnt orange is called "Orange Crush".
The stripes and meatballs are "White Chocolate",
and the team stripes are "True Blue".

Very nice indeed!!! Congratulations.
That color is beautiful, gonna be a real head-turner!
How much is left on your build? Bet you can't wait to get it on the road. Had mine out for a little cruise today, I'm still smiling!!
Always good to see another RUCC kit being completed.

Juggernaut,
Once I get it home, its pretty much puttin it all back together, pretty much everything but the carpet has been in and out a half dozen times so I hope it goes pretty good and she is ready to drive in a few weeks.

Will post some more pictures as soon as I can get it out side, saw it late yesterday by an open door with a little sun on it and it really looks different, can't wait to get it home and get her together.

Anybody that has a "full" down draft paint booth would make any painter jealous-Let alone the car! Never saw one in that orange scheme before, very well done!
Going to be a real "eye turner" for sure.

Burnt Orange Crush?......Hmmm My 1969 Mustang Fastback has a very similar look and it is Indian Fire Metallic...original 1969 color...... Cool combo- a little bit of chrome and black once finished it will look sharp.

Beautiful color and especially with the stripes and meatball.
I gotta ask a question about the team stripes. Did you have an example of a car that had a team stripe laid out having the offset front to back as a guide?
I have never seen a team stripe laid out like that.

Love it, and I'm a painter !
One piece of advise. Let it cure or put the heat lamps on. Get the 3m film or the invinca shield to protect the paint. I WISH I would have.
They're well worth the time and $$$

Double Venom, The booth belongs to a couple of friens of mine who started their own little collisions repair shop, really good guys, do a great job painting, at a more then fair price.
Jwheaton, as far as the blue team stripes, I have seen a couple of cobras with this stripe layout. The most notable ones are a deep blue ERA with a number "98" it has white racing stripes with red team stripes, there is also a Hurrican that is painted very similar. I took the pictures for them to compare the layout and position, nothing specific or dimensional.
Funfer2, They have bakes it several times so far, but I hope it will be completed cured by the time I get it all back together. Never really thought about the 3m or invinca shield, I will look into it. I assume you would place it around the front of the nose and the frone of the rear qtrs?
Thanks for all of the comments, was worried about the color selection, wanted to do something a little different, out of the ordinary, but yet keep a pretty traditional looks to it as well.

Thanks,
Hope to have the car home tomorrow to start putting back together one last time, at least fro a while. Now to go pay the piper for doing such a wonderfull job on my baby. I hope he is at least in the same ball park as his estimate.

Yes, the nose-All the bottom up to the turn signal lights and the brake intakes. The rear as you said. One of these years,.........I want to do some touch up's and cover all that I've mentioned. I'm afraid that the rear quarters will require the black "spats". (black covering) Like I said, I wish I had done this to mine before damaging my hard work.
