Thanks DonC --- AND my impressions of the Serpent Express
Well, Sherrie and I finally made it home from the WSCB after a road trip vacation and some time in our home town of Olympia with family yesterday.
Don so graciously offered up his Serpent Express because he recently had back surgery and couldn't make the WSCB himself. This afforded Sherrie and I the opportunity to get there with the Cobra, which we missed having the last couple years. Don, thank YOU so much!
Impressions of the Serpent Express:
First, Don was there with me the first time we loaded the car, and it was super easy. The great thing was that unloading and reloading the car again later, was super easy. It really only took us about ~10 minutes to get things loaded up the first time with instructions, etc. Unloading took 3 minutes or so, and the next time loading the car went super quick. Fantastic.
Driving was easy. My biggest concern was getting into an area where turning around would be difficult, but I only got myself into one tight spot the whole trip, but a little jockeying and I was fine....It towed great, braked great, and is a fantastic asset if you plan to tow your ride. A really slick unit.
Thanks again, Don. Much appreciated.

Scott:
You're welcome for the use of the trailer. I'm really glad someone could make use of it to attend and event that would have been less fun otherwise.
I've received so much assistance and advice from the folks here at Club Cobra over the years since I started researching and subsequently owning my Cobra that I'm happy to be able to pay back a little.

Trailering is great but a real Cobra owner drives his to an event
Tim, dblbarrel, and his wife Susan drove there, and back, from Bellingham, WA. Rained on both ways.....
Now he remembers why he wants a trailer.

My wife and I drove the Cobra the whole way the first year and wrecked before we even got to Tacoma (some truck dumped diesel or oil from Seattle to Fife and it was a bad combo with rain--~50 cars wrecked that day and I crossed a couple lanes, over a ditch, missed a sign, a guard rail (but it a berm leading up to it), caught a little air and nearly missed a taxi on an on ramp that I came to a stop on backwards)....and we still made it there. Top that.

Scott, yes, we need to find a way to hook up. I want to see your coupe!
G.R. - I know you're just razzing. I was playing back.
