Joe,
I have tried the stop and refresh thing and when I do that I get the "this is a double post" message meaning that it has already gone in and is just setting there looking as if it isn't doing anything.
I am keeping a record of times and things that are happening and so far it is all over the map. One post will go right in like it should and then next three won't, but each may act differently.
Are you seeing that script error I think it is when you go to the gallery? I noticed I started seeing it this morning and it is in any gallery that I look in and there is a gray strip up the right side that cuts off the last word or so. It wasn't there last night as I looked at some pictures of the Bash.

About three days ago I quit getting any e-mail notifications at all. I tried sending myself one through the site and it never came through. AT&T says they have not blocked this site again and others that have sbcglobal.net as their domain are getting theirs ok.
Could someone take a look when they have time and see why mine suddenly stopped. They worked great for the first day or so after Brent got me where I could get on the site and post.
Thanks,
Ron

Mine quit, but it's done that before and then started up again. I don't raise a ***** until it's broken steady for a good two weeks.

The people that have service through AT&T were blocked some time back and it took an e-mail from CW with the clubs IP address to get them to unblock it. Now they are experimenting with a new e-mail program and it has caused some weird problems, but they didn't have it blocked as some people on the same domain as I am were still getting theirs or said they did.
Edit: I am getting them now Brent. Thanks.

Brent fixed me 5 minutes ago. I'll now shorten the two week time period to one week....

He is going to hate me. I went over to my account on CHR and changed the e-mail to my G-Mail account while he had the notifications shut off and as a result I never got any e-mail to activate the account again so I am now not allowed to post over there. I just went and looked and nothing in my G-Mail account so I tried changing it back to the original address but that didn't work either as I hadn't activated it with the other one.
I wish AT&T would stop messing with the e-mail program as the past month it is hard to know if it is them or the sites and some regular e-mails have been lost. But they finally did agree to let people change back to the original program which has less features but works. So I am now using my old program and receiving and am able to send all my e-mails.

That's IT support for you... "You can't use the old program that worked, you must use the new program that doesn't...."

I continually get "page cannot be found" errors. This is most frequent in the afternoon when I try to navigate between pages on the forum. Just a white pager of death with no follow. If I hit the back arrow on the navigation bar, sometimes I can go back a page and sometimes not. From there, if I try to go forward to a different page, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Just tried to go from here to the next page and read some of the other error messages and got the 'page cannot be found' message.

This is getting very frustrating. There are many supporting vendors/advertisers and member contributors but this site seems to be down more than 50% of the time. Time to get some decent equipment with all that money.

Didn't mean to pizz you off Brent. That will cause your gall bladder to act up. Mine's fine now that it is in some jar somewhere. It's just frustrating to come to my favorite site and get "page not available" most of the time.

Look, I will nail it. I am working on the damn thing every day. I'm frustrated as hell! Believe me, I care, I'm trying, and its driving me nutz. mysql, php, memcache, vbulletin, isapi rewrite, are just some of the programs that run to make all this stuff work...errr...or not work together. Pinpointing the problem with no real errors to speak of is difficult as all get out. I understand your frustration...I just am not really well equipped at the moment to take pot shots.

No pot shot intended. My advice, Valium + cocktail. It solves most problems, if only temporary. Good luck on fixing the gremlins.

Hey, Brent, if running a site like this were easy lots of us would be doing it.
Most of us appreciate the fact that you do a LOT more work on this site behind the scenes than we "see" being done. If anyone thinks you are getting rich off this, they have no idea how much work and time is involved maintaining a forum like this. I can't imagine your pay per hour of time invested on this site as anything but a labor of love.
Hang in there, buddy.
