Default Team Stripes - Tape?

Elsewhere here, people have mentioned that they used tape to make team stripes across a front fender. Could someone identify the type of tape that works well for this (and a source)?
Many thanks.

I had a local graphics/sign shop make mine out of vinyl. They made them, and applied them, for about $40. Pics are in my gallery.

I bought my stripes cut (Red and Yellow) at 3" and installed them myself ...about $10 at a graphics shop.

I first started using 'Duct Tape' of various colors. Then I found out about 'race tape', which is essentially duct tape more sticky, it still has a certain 'grain' to it, not real smooth. My friend got the Finish Line static cling set and it looks much better than tape, close up, but from a distance the same. I just checked, the yellow has been discontinued, which is the color I prefer for my red car. Guess I'll keep using tape...
