Default CSX/COX Cobra Lineup

Last May “The Cobra Deliverance Tour 2008” took place in Virginia & West Virginia. Someone had the idea of lining up the cars in CSX/COX order. Then someone climbed up in a silo and caught a great picture.

One of the participants having a history of creating great Cobra posters had this poster created. Remember the ‘A-Snake’ poster or the ‘Mr. Tux’ poster from years ago?

This one is 12”x 18” making it easy to frame. The back lists each of the cars and some background information on the tour.

The owner had passed out in the driver's seat and we couldn't get him out in time for the photo shoot so we just put the tonneau on over him.

Actually quite sad....

Naturally you laid him across the passenger seat otherwise there would be a large bulge in the cover.

However, in this digital age, it would be easy to clone the interior of the car alongside onto that car and the matter of the unconcious owner would never have arisen, thus saving me valuable time having to type all this Stuff... ask a silly question....

Well, that car still has its original red leather so it wouldn't be kosher to 'clone' in a black interior.

Besides, it gave Trevor one last chance to offer his comments before he crawls under the covers for the night.

Is it just the light/camera angle or is there a difference in the body on the bottom car vs the others?
Look at the body above the rear fender, behind the door and compare it to the other cars. The top part looks taller than on the others.
Maybe it's just me though.

There. Fixed it for you! Anyway, the Cobra Czar never sleeps.

Never mind that... what about the 'Devil Horns' on the rear of 3102(3rd from top)?
Ron, couldn`t you have `shopped those 3 closer to the main group, they`re outside the 18"(+/- 2") regulation concours spacing.

Thanks for the fix

Nik, I assume you know the history of 3102? The body is from CSX3005 that was designed with much input from Tom Payne.

The spacing between CSX6111 & CSX3102 was intended to note the change from small block to big block.

It's just the darker color and lighting. It's also hard to compare as the car next to CSX2181 has its tonneau.

Speaking as the Czar Who Never Sleeps (someone has to keep a continual watch over this forum, righting wrongs and moving tonneaus) I was also about to comment on the unfortunate gap until I spotted the reason. Forgive young Nik, so impetuous :-)

The guy/gal with the tonneau was probably trying to minimize the possibility of coming back to his/her car and finding somebody's kid jumping up and down in the seat (with his/her giggling parents taking pictures!).

So, the UK Czar was unable to ascertain the possible motive for the existence of the space even when the cars are aligned in a meaningful AC CSX/COX order?

Tell me it isn't true!

Not sure that would have happened. The tour participants had about all the rooms at the lodge and the lodge was so far ‘back in the woods’ that the rooms don’t even have keys.

Very nice lodge though.

Nah, that could never happen!

Impetuous, Moi? Cannon fodder more like....why did I mention Lee Holman?!

I thought the gap was like when you get seated at a wedding next to that fat aunty after everyone else has swapped the placemarkers....
