Well? I hate to keep beating this horse, but I was so interested when I first heard about the possibility of another 289 kit being offered. It's been quite some time without any updates. It's probably safe to assume that this will not make it to market. Or am I mistaken? Mot sure how long it takes to get something like this to market.

Thank you all.The pics you see of the FIA( yellow ID) version are of the Mule so numerous small changes constantly taking place. The USRRC version ie full stripe is the one closest to what will be available and is in fact the car on its way to Shelby and then to the Carlisle Show.Hopefully I will have had time to have the motor and transmission fitted by then.

Gary,
I`m afraid I cant divulge pricing as yet.I was hoping for the Shelby presentation to have happened before this all happened.Once that is done I will post prices immediately. What I will say is for what you get they are value for money. As you can pick up from the pics the quality is very high.
Everything is set up at the factory so I would think about 8 to 10 weeks for a roller.
A soft top for this car is still under development but will also be an option.
So options will be
1. fia or Usrrc...IE dash layout and dimples. Your fia can also have no dimples
2.Extras, Small racer screen
Racing tank in trunk
windscreen attachments for raydot mirrors
roundels
stripes either Id, or full
soft top and side screens
carpets and floor mats
What is standard in kit is oil coolers, both diff and fia style engine. No piping or pump
tonneau cover
harrison expansion tank
3 way fuel switch over valve. not connected but fitted
diff and sideshafts no driveshaft
Ally radiator and fan
wiring, gauges etc etc ie full roller. Nothing to stop you from fitting tranny and motor and riding.

Ross,
Great looking car ... I really like the FIAs !
I might have missed it, but any details at this point on the motor? Displacement, builder, induction, horsepower ... ect?
Thanks.

Tim,
The motor for the demo car is a 347 SBF that I`ve owned for zonks, 650 double pumper. Enough horsepower , super t10 gearbox.Very scared of too much horse power in a demo car.
Cheers

Ross,
Thanks for the info. So for the rollers that go into production, will it be up to the customer to source a motor?
Or will you guys build or source 289 / 302 motors in keeping with the spirit of the car?

Looks REAL nice. SBF engines are sourced easily so I wouldn't expect that this would be part of the offering. Still waiting for prices.

Cars will be rollers/part build only. Buyer sources and supplies the powertrain.
Also the picture of the side view with the pipes WAY low is a prototype system that has been revised to allow more ground clearance. More photos to follow..............

Awesome!!
I`ve been studying this car carefully and the attention to detail is second to none. Great to see things like the right oil cooler instead of the normal off the shelf box..The finish under the bonnet and doors is top notch.
When/Will they be available in the UK??
Some pictures show 2 fans ahead of the radiator and others 1 big fan in the engine bay.why is that?

Two "front fans" for period look, rear fan to actually cool the beast!
The wide oil coolers were specially built, I just picked some up at the airport for the first batch of cars. Many details that you may not be able to see have been done "right" and required custom parts/tooling/efforts.
Ross went to the wall on this one..........

Nigel Hulme {csx 2131} is the UK ditributor, and he tells me that bureaucracy has all but made it impossible to import something as raw as this. We will be working on it but later. For now I think only cars to be raced will be allowed. I`ll try to find out exactly and get back to you.
I felt the twin fans in front made it too 427 ish looking so only the rear single type is fitted.
Building a car from 10,000 miles away required lots of different fittings, pictures, rejections etc. Lots of fun but time consuming.
