Date on the body is Dec. 1985. Some day I look forward to restoring the car.

According to the paperwork I have on my car, FFR2479K was completed in Kentucky on Sept. 24th, 2001. It was built by "Palmer Classic Creations" for the original owner. He sold it to me in March/April of 2002. It had about 2500 miles on it, maybe less. Original owner collected and traded collector cars/guns, etc.. and frequented Pigeon Forge (sp?) car show. Found the car on the classic car section of autotrader.com.

Shell Valley soon to be 11 years old. 6000 trouble-free (s)miles. All home-built and low-tech, but loads of fun.

Ordered it in November '94, brought it home June 30th 1995. Registered on June 1st 1996. The heat here in the valley has taken it's toll on the rack's boots and the ball joint's seals, but otherwise is in good shape.

Superformance #1735. Bought September 2003. 418 stroker from House of Cobras. Has 780 miles since I took possession 11/26/03 with motor and trans installed. These cars have Rock Star recognition, only the rock star is not the owner, but the car itself. Indigo blue with titanium stripes. The only car I have ever owned that will pull me into the garage every night at least once to just look at it, or take a wax and rag to it for a while. It's been photographed on the street by strangers, movies made as it is cruising on the freeway by drive-by looky lou's. Women yelling at me and the car saying how beautiful the car is. Hmmm...What a car!

My 1970 Arntz was messed up pretty good by two owners before I bought it in 1981. I had to reweld their mistakes before scrounging the parts and putting it together. I got it running in 1986 and after 6 months of registration hassles, starting running autocrosses and rallies. My first big event was the Santa Barbara to Las Vegas Starlite Rally in 1991. We hit a dip at 120 and were flying for almost 200 feet. It was the scariest moment of my life.
Thinking about it, I feel very lucky to be writing this.
