White Wheels: What Color of White?

I've got Halibrand Cobra III wheels that simulate the look of true knock off wheels.

Anyway, they have gray-painted centers and I've been running knock-off spinners for the last couple of years. Anyway, they're not real knock offs and I don't want to pretend that they are. So I'm pulling the spinners off and am going to have the gray-painted centers painted white.

My question: What color white should the centers be painted?

The shop doing the work, including fixing a couple of deep scratches in one of the wheels, has a paint chip chart with several different colors of white. I picked out the brightest white that they had but now I'm not so sure that's the color that I should go with. Should the centers be a bright white or more of a subdued, creamier white?

I used regular white semigloss a few years back. It will yellow after a couple years. Shelby would use anything near the car, as he was not picky......

Be advised that brake dust and heat will make them impossible to keep up unless you powder coat. They'll still get brake dust but be easier to clean.
Wimbledon White has a nice old-timey look.

When I had the same set up I blasted them clean and painted them.....after that I put a clear coat on top of the paint with a flat agent in it so it didn't change the finish (flat) ....they looked great and were easy to keep clean!! Hope that helps !!

This is what the shop doing the work told me they are going to do:

Prep the wheels for paint and then paint the whole wheels white. After painting, the wheels will be put on a lathe to remove the paint from the wheel lips and top edges around the spokes. The machining will also remove some scratches from one of my wheels. After painting and machining, the wheels will be shot with clear.

The shop doing the work told me that they can't powder coat the wheels because machining would chip the coating.

Now, what color? Bright white or a "creamier" not-so-bright white?

Creamier white I would think ?!?!
