I just noticed this for the first time and I think it sums it up perfectly.

Rodknock: So you think I got my facts wrong do you???? I hope you don't look as stupid as you sound. Shelby clearly had involvement with Thunderbolt's design. You don't think it plausible that he might decide to show up for the grand openning regardless of the fact SAAC happens to be there on that same weekend???

OMG!

This place is a scream!!!!ROFLMAO

Oh yeah. F the French.

You sound more stressed than usual. Maybe you should get your mind off of all of this and take your car out for a drive tonight...

I read that as more propaganda for the press and the local governing body to help push approvals by throwing out famous names than anything else. Having spoken with one of the actual developers, at no time did he mention Shelby at all when he was discussing the track layout or development of the race park as a whole. He did mention several other well known racers, but not once did he bring up the name of Carrol or Shelby or a combination of the two. Again, there is more to it than what I've posted, but I'll leave it at that as I have a call in to him and I await a response (his choice if I can make it public or not).........

Yes, I think you got your facts wrong. You seems to be relying on "plausibility."

No, I don't look as stupid as you think I sound. I don't get involved with insults, maybe you should too.
