So all the nasty stuff both sides said about the other is now "null and void"????
Better this, than enriching lawyers, the only possible positive outcome of the legal conflict.

Obviously, Shelby American, SAAC, as well as all other replica manufacturers, engine suppliers, etc., are really in it for the business. They're there to make money off of the hobbiests (us). Better they resolve their disputes so they can go on with their business.

Not to take anything away from Amy, but my comment was centered around Carroll allowing the negotiations. I assumed that someone under him handled the individual line items. That is what he hires them for.
Once again, congrats to all involved from someone new to the Cobra world but getting close to his.

I have to agree that the lawyers must be facing bankruptcy now - I'm waiting for them to surface and re-fuel the flames :-)
I also agree about the nasty taste that's left behind. However, it's better that this was resolved since bad PR is not good news for any business.
Having turned the boss around, I hope Amy can fill in the details of this remarkable transformation for my next book - so do you spell 'electric cattle prod" with lower case or capital letters...?

Thanks for all the kind words, this was certainly not easy on anyone's part. This was many many hours, late nights and weekends, but all involved were on a mission. I congratulate all involved.
Tevor, feel free to email me....lol not sure I can share, because it's going in my book!

The US legal system is so screwed up, I'm sure there is enough of other business to keep them going. All the laws are designed to keep them going.

As A very good friend of Carroll’s and someone who has always admired him I had no doubt Carroll would come through regarding SAAC. Glad to see it is final.
In my dealings with Carroll I have never known him to be anything other than a Cobra fan and great guy! He has even commented on how he admired my Superformance several times and signed my glove box. Really a super guy!
I'm just real sorry that my roof gave out and I had to sell my SPF to get the roof replaced.

Great job to both groups. This compromise helps the most important folks of all: the people that live and breath these cars. Thanks for making it fun again.

I noticed that as well Jamo. Perhaps if I can get Carroll to sign my glove box he to will be my bestest friend... Would it still count if I mailed it to him?

Does anyone else find it odd that Evan (Real 1) has not commented on this thread yet?

McD00 gets a hard warning... that's it.
Otherwise, keep the thread on topic.
