Thought you could not afford an all aluminum FE
Well we have put together a package that will knock your socks of when it comes to an all aluminum FE engine. You can now buy an all aluminum 482 C.I. FE engine from Keith Craft Performance for what most others charge for an all aluminum small block. We know which one will hold its value better and get you more attention. How about 14,900.00 complete.
Here is what you get: Pond fully machined aluminum side oiler block, Scat or Eagle cast steel crankshaft, Scat I-beam rods, Diamond dish pistons for 10 to 1 compression , Mahle, rings, Clevite or Federal Mogul bearings, Zero balanced, rear main seal, Comp Cams flat tappet camshaft and lifters, cam retaining plate, Ford Racing double roller indexable timing set, slinger, stock front cover and pointer, damper sleeve, Proffesional Products SFI damper, Moroso or Canton front sump oil pan and pick up tube with dip stick, Melling HV oil pump and HD oil pump drive, all gaskets, ARP head studs for aluminum block, Edelbrock KCR Stage 1 heads with 2.19-1.75 valves, dual springs, Comp Cams 10 degree retainers and locks, inner spring cups, seals, Smith Brothers pushrods, Erson roller rockers, ARP rocker arm stud kit, Edelbrock gasket matched intake, Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Ford Racing CXobra LeMans or Keith Craft valve covers, MSD distributor set up with correct timing curve and gear, KC wires for FE engine, wire looms, Quick Fuel carburetor, carburetor studs, nuts and gasket, distributor hold down completely blue print assembled with parts, build, balance, and dyno sheets. Engine will be dyno tested and tuned, dye checked for oil leaks, leak down performed on dyno, all bolts re-checked, carburetor tuned and replaced if not correct, timing checked and engine ran for durability and performance. These engines will make at least 525 HP and 540 ft/lbs of torque with a mild solid flat tappet camshaft which will be broke in with Joe Gibbs break in oil and Comp Cams additive. Engines may make more with bigger camshaft and other options. The standard camshaft will be about 232 @ .050 intake and 240 @ .050 exhaust with about .560 to ..580 lift on a 112 lobe seperation.
A lot of people have wanted an 427 FE engine for their Cobra's but thought they could not afford it, well here is your chance to finally have one. If you would like a cast iron block you can deduct 750.00 and we will use a Genesis cast iron block instead of the aluminum Pond block.
Have any questions please feel free to call Tony, Lance or Keith at 870-246-7460. Stage 2 heads add 1000.00, hydraulic roller camshaft and lifters add 600.00, Aviad oil pan add 300.00 and there are other options as well.
We stand behind all of our engines for 2 years and 24,000 miles when installed properly and not used for racing.
Thanks, Keith Craft

That's a lot of motor for the money. In 1994 I paid $12,500 for an iron block, iron head 10.1 to 1 engine that only made 411 horsepower, and burned 3 quarts of oil every 1,000 miles. And it wrapped the dipstick around the crank because the builder forgot to drill a hole in the windage tray for the dipstick to go through. All this and some more that I didn't elaborate on a freshly-built engine with a NOS block.
Keith Craft, I don't know what you were doing 14 years ago, but I wish you'd built my first engine!!

Keith,
Very nice! Just to clarify (you've got a long list of great parts there, want to make sure I'm not missing anything) you need an air cleaner, alternator, alt brackets, and pulleys/belt to have a complete setup here?
What about Flywheel?
Thanks

Engine Special
I will list what does not come with the engine but can be included if needed. There is no pulleys, brackets, alternator or belt. No flywheel, pressure plate or clutch. No starter, air cleaner, puke tank, coil, coil brackets, MSD box or bell housing. Does not include a manual fuel pump or lines to carburetor.
The main reason we do not have any of these parts listed is because the cars are built with different parts and people have different taste. One guy likes a turkey pan and another likes a oval air cleaner. One guy wants black pulleys and brackets and another want billet aluminum. Some want steel flywheel and others aluminum. McCloed or Ram and the list goes on.
We build complete cars so we have most all of the parts to finish to any point someone wants. The Shelby block and special head studs it requires would run about 1200.00 extra over the Pond block. I have them in stock as well and build a lot of the FE engines with them.
The reason I ran this package is because a lot of people say that they do not want to make much over 500HP on their engine. So we just detune our standard package a little and still make more power than most with a very reasonable price. No excuses now about getting an all aluminum FE engine since it does not cost a lot more than a similiar equiped small block enigne.
If anyone has any questions please call and we will get a special quote together. Thanks, Keith Craft

That's a winner
OK guys, toss that SB or 351W under your workbench and upgrade. KC and Company are top notch. Can't go wrong with this deal.
