Default Your top 10 cars

It’s probably been done before but how about listing your top ten performance cars. I have a love of a certain car that starts with a P but the Cobra has always been tops for me. Curious to see Cobra owner’s response

No particular order

Any Cobra (goes without saying)
Ferrari 250 GTO
Porsche 550 Spyder
Jaguar E Type
MB 300SL Roadster

Thumbs up Top Ten Cars

Those few who know me on this site will identify me by my esoteric collection of ten. Oh, by the way, the first one's in order. The others follow.

1) 1936 Wanderer W25K roadster
1962 Ferrari 250GTO
1966 Ford GT40 Mk II - #2 car that came in 1st at Le Mans in '66
Cobra 427SC
Cobra 289FIA #15 campaigned by Dan Gurney and others
1965 Shelby GT350 (one of the 36 race car's)
1969 Shelby GT350 convertible with 4-speed and A/C
1934 Ford roadster with rumble seat hot rodded to my taste
1961 Ferrari California Spyder (blue with red interior and hardtop)
1967 Corvette Convertible original 427/435 horse car

I've left a bunch of cars off the list. A Top 20 list would be preferable, but I stayed within the rules. Who's next?

I'll take Ten (10) Ferrari Enzos, please. Then I'd sell 9 of them and use the money to buy my TOP 25 (limiting it to only 10 is too hard).

But the first other nine acquisitions would include:

- 2006 Ford GT (not sure which color yet...would probably buy two)
- 1958 Ferrari 250 Testarossa

- 1970 Hemi Cuda hardtop (black)
- 1969 ZL1 Camaro
- 2009 Corvette ZR1
- Pro Mod drag car (in '67 Corvette body)
- Lamborghini Countach (white)
- 1967 Corvette Roadster 427/435 (either Marina Blue or Rally Red w/black stinger)
- new Aston Martin Vantage (for evenings/official business)

Oh, of course. Some form of 427 Shelby Cobra, just not sure if I'd go the older route or get a full-on Kirkham painted red.

Still having a great time with my Z ... not bored at all yet.

As for the ZR1 ... what a blast that would be! Still I would rather spend $10 to put twin superchargers on my Z06 427 than 50K for the ZR1.
