Cleaning Ceramic Coated Sidepipes
I did a search on this topic, but they were mostly older threads, so I thought I would throw this topic out there again for some more recent information and feedback.
What do you use to clean/polish your ceramic coated sidepipes, and what do you use to get melted items off of them?

I use Mother's mag and aluminum polsih and it works great. I haven't had anything melt on the pipes yet and hope I never do. Althought I did leave some of my shins skin on one pipe it didn't show on the pipe.

I've had to remove a lot of my skin from my sidepipes <seriously>. It leaves a funny looking stain but it scrubs off with 409 Cleaner and rag.

I also use the Mother's mag and aluminum polish. I tried Mother's Billett, but the mag polish is easier to use and results are about the same.
I was also using the Mother's mag and aluminum polish on my wheels. I decided to give the Meguiar's Hot Rim product a try, and have to say that I like the Meguiar's over the Mother's (very close though).

exotic metal polish and oooo steel wool
Here is the link to get the metal polish and #0000 Steel wool can be found at any good hardware store.
The steel wool gets filled with a black goo as it lifts the dirt out of the metal, change the pad when it starts streaking. Follow up with a clean soft polishing rag. Looks like new. Road tar, dirt, water marks and even skin comes right off.
