Thank you one and all. Yesterday, we were reading all of this to CJ at the hospital and he was so happy. I'm on the way to the hospital today. He has a big surgery. Then tomorrow the chemmo starts and at least one more week in the hospital. You guys are beyond belief. I will never take it lightly again when someone asks for prayers. Jim, I am crying after reading your poem. I want to get it to him before he goes for surgeries this afternoon. This has spread everywhere. Yesterday, someone emailed from New Guinea, Argentina, Venezuela and someone emailed that they heard about CJ on the radio on Tennessee. He was happy to hear they would be reading his poems in the church last night at the band rehearsal.
Andy, thank you and our family will add yours to our prayer list as well.
By the way, your prayers are already helping. The brain and lungs were clear. We have always wondered why CJ was so different his whole life. He always wanted to help others. This May he marched in a cancer parade (and here the little guy already had it), he has not missed a Thanksgiving handing out baskets to poor people, or a Christmas singing at people's windows that were too sick to get out. He has always been close to God even from a young age. Even though he is scared and very sick it is well with his soul. The other day after his biopsy when he was having a lot of pain he held his hands up and said, God, I know you love me, I know you won't forsake me, please heal me. A while later after the nurse put some medicine in the IV and he was comfortable his Daddy said, CJ, the medicine is kicking in and CJ said, no Daddy it was God.
I know this is a Cobra Forum but I love all of you. You have helped us and have given us comfort and I will never forget this.
