Not a Unique. Among other things that differ from a Unique Motorcars replica are:

- Footbox exterior shape
- live rear axle vs. Unique's Jag IRS
- interior driver's footbox size & pedal setup
- underhung fuel tank with straps vs. Unique's internal to the trunk

He's asking 40k which I know is way too much based on what I see for sale on the site that is why I'm trying to figure out the "real" value.

You can do a lot better for a lot less money than that. If it were me, I'd keep looking.

That car is way over priced at $40. Pass on it. It has way too many issues. He's nuts!! MAybe the thing is worth low $20's. I would buy Mr. Mustang's FFR first

Michigan tags. If it's fairly close to me I can take a look at it for you, but all the above stating it is over priced are way off, it is very over priced! Even looks like an old A&C kit by the inner edge of he hood and the hinges on the trunk- look like A&C.? A lot nicer cars out there with proper price tags on them.

$40K for an unknown, unfinished POS vs a well done, paint your own color,
do your own tweeking for nearly half the price? Duh. How much more $ to
make the $40K Cobra fit for for the road? $10k, $20k? Run away from it!

DEFINITELY not a Unique Motorcars product! It looks like it may be either an early LA Exotics or B&B. Way overpriced regardless. Check out Mr. Mustang's car or look at the offerings on http://www.cobracountry.com/home2.html

That's your opinion. It's all personal preference.

Personally I went with a drag set-up and I bet I can out shift you.....

Regardless of whether you are even considering mine or not, heed the words spoken on this thread. Make sure you have someone who knows exactly what they are looking at inspect it for you. If not, you could end up with a 40K headache that could cost you a lot more of your hard earned cash to get it on the road (which is your ultimate goal I suspect), no matter what the seller states as to it's road worthiness.

Wish you the very best of luck with it as it seems to me that you are pretty hot and heavy for that one particular car.

Sincerely,

Bill S.
