Angry SOme BILSTEIN SHOCKS ARE DEFECTIVE FROM FFR

I got a message from Bernie Wiener and Slither..Dave Smith from FFR posted a message on the FFR forum that some Bilstein shocks used on FFR's (he posted numbers) between 2003 and 2008 should be reported to FFR and you should not use the vehicle until fixed.I had (4) # A273T0 that are defective...I was kicked off of the FFR forum by BILL for some stupid reason that he absolutely blew it up out of proportion..What would have happened if I didn't get that message and I had a bad accident?....I'm so mad I could sue the guy..Stupid, stupid move he made because of his temper..THANKS AGAIN TO BERNIE AND SLITHER FOR BRINGING IT TO MY ATTENTION!!!

Jamo, I've seen your name quite a bit on here..Nice to meet you..In regards to BIll and his sight...I just want you to know that I'm definitely not a trouble maker..I want to learn and learn about cars and the best place for it is on a forum like this where they have the the mechanics (for better lack of a word to use) that can talk you through things....I've learned so much from the sights and made some darn nice friends...To get kicked off of one for something very, very small that built up like a baloon is uncalled for but it happened.I wrote a letter to Bill recently to let bygones be bygones and let's be friends and he said, definitely not..you are banned for life....It's really too bad Jamo..Hope to talk to you soon....Dave

I learned the hard way that that site is monitored by some who do not believe in free speech. I also am not a trouble maker but do get straight to the point at times and try to include a little dry humor while doing so. I am too banned from the FFR forum and learned from another fellow Ba Boy that sometimes it is better to bite your tongue/keyboard or you may be,
BANNED FOR LIFE.

What are they banning? Your name or your IP address? If it is your IP address, there are about 10 programs to use that will change your IP. Some only cost a few bucks. Get it, install it, and start visiting the site again.

Usually it's by user name, not IP address as several of the persistant spammers of this site all post from the same IP address time and time again before having their accounts removed (closed)............

In this case a banned user can still read the posts, but cannot respond with the account that has been marked as banned.

Just create a new user name and rejoin. Just do not use your name, no FFR car number and do not use your mug shot as an avatar. Call yourself "Stealth".

I do not have an FFR, but I periodically post some things on the FFR forum. Hell, I've gone to 4 of the FFR open houses with my SPF.

Absolutely. I've talked with Dave Smith many times. He even has used some of my pictures and videos on the FFR web site.

I still use my FFR hat that I got a couple of years ago!

FFR is the largest selling Cobra replica manufacturer in the world, by a wide margin. They have to be doing things right (at least most of the time) to get that big.

Getting banned from a company run web site is at the manufacturer's prerogative. If they think your posts are too slanted or untruthful, they have the right to boot you off the site. Its just business.

FFR doesn't own the site. They are just an sponsor. It is owned and governed by Bill!

It's sad to see anyone banned from a forum. I don't know what you did to get banned ,but I'm surprized that more of us are not banned . I've gotten pretty &!$$@# off and spouted off. A while back we had problems with a vender. They screwed me and I would'nt let it go.Bill did step in and bared the vender from the forum. It could be better , but the only way to improve anything is to work at it.I've had more than one of my post locked.Roger.

Clever. If I was marketing FFRs I'd use pictures of SPFs as well.

FFR forum is not company run...It's privately owned solely by Bill, ""THE BANNED FOR LIFE GUY!""

Interesting that the shock thread is locked over there. I guess that's to keep anyone from asking any important "questions".

I hope they get it sorted out quickly so guys affected can get thier cars back on the road.
