I'm interested in seeing your photos for sure. Some year I plan on going to Goodwood.

Follow the whole sequence of Richard`s photos on Flickr of Barrie 'Whizzo' Williams being the victim of oil on the track. The same car had 2 shunts, one minor, one biggie at Spa last year too.
Expensive game, eh?

That was COB 6041 and it was only just rebuilt following a shunt at Spa - it was mint. The owner had double-booked his weekend and could not attend but sportingly allowed the car to be sent over for the race, in the usually safe hands of Barry Whizzo Williams (and Nick Wigley who put up the money to publish my book). It seems a bit of oil put Whizzo into the barriers, now that the gravel trap has been replaced by tarmac. Another chassis anyone..???

CSX700?
That overhead shot of DBR1 is one of the best these pages have ever seen...period.
The rest are great...painful to see the bent Cobra after they pulled it away from the barrier. Almost more painful to see any bend on a Daytona. They do run their historics a bit more open back there.

Thanks Ron for putting up the pictures here, great time as usual.
I walked the whole course (2.38 miles)and watched different races and track tributes/demos at various parts of the track. It is great because no matter where you are in the grounds people are friendly and dressed for the occasion.
A highlight was standing down at St Marys, vehicles from 1948 trundling slowly by on track , Lancaster bomber flying overhead whilst enjoying a pint of Fullers London Pride.
