Default Classic Motorsports cobra article

Forgive me if you guys already posted this. There is a nice article in Classic Motorsports magazine titled Replica vs. Real. It compares a real 427 "street" cobra, owned by Jim Maxwell and Mike Stenhouse's Superformance 427w cobra. The usual results. The real Cobra is of course pedigree and worth a ton of $$$. But the Superformance is faster, handles better and more fun. I still rather have the "real one", but my stock portfolio hasn't been good of late.

Being the cheapskate that I am I went to their site and requested a free sample magazine just to get that issue! I might be too late to do that now but it might be worth a shot if you want to read it. Nice article too by the way!

Cobra Make, Engine: Don't think I'll be getting a Cobra for a long time... Do have '94 RX-7 R2.

Is that issue on sale now? I remember the article being mentioned before the issue was available for sale.

I went to the website to look for the article after this was first posted and received a copy by mail yesterday. Nice magazine. Great article-it's now on my coffee table. Rick

I tried looking for the magazine at a bookstore in a small mall near me last night and could not find it. I also tried one of those big box book sellers today at lunch and could not find it there either...

After visiting a Borders Express and 2 different Barnes & Noble with no luck, I found the magazine at a Borders.

Here's the previous thread regarding the article in Classic Motorsports.

Real vs. Replica, Classic Motorsports Magazine Sept issue

The November edition was mailed in September, so you may not find the "Replica vs. Real" edition in bookstores. You can order the September back issue for $6.50 through Classic Motorsports.
