Me. Sherrie and I had the place to ourselves...I mean to the point that the security folks unlocked the doors for us and then they left us in there. I'm sure they checked in via video camera from time to time, but we spent a couple hours in there and did not see a person. Larry really has a nice setup there.

Admit it - you're still in there aren't you...?? (I would be)
We can only hope that when we get to heaven (or wherever) it'll look exactly like that. We should all be so lucky.

Brent,
Those are great pictures and some fantastic cars. That is a collection that I would love to spend a day looking at.

Trevor, I definately wish I was still there. Sherrie said I had a grin on my face the whole time I was there and for hours after. We drove on a little vacation, so I had hours to daydream afterwords as we were heading home.
I certainly have not seen a more impressive collection and certainly Larry can be considered a Shelby fan. Would be neat if we could get him on here to tell us his story.
From what I came to understand, he runs the cars, and has a beautiful track to do it on.

A great place to stop at, Brent.
I was there last year and had the place to myself as well... the folks that maintain the cars are great, too.... let me "go under the ropes" for closer inspections. There was a blue street GT40 there that I will never forget.

Ron, the MKIII was still there....I did see drool marks on it. I guess I know where they came from.
I wish I had the opportunity to talk with the crew, though we never did see anyone. I did drop the ropes on a few shots, though didn't wander closer to the cars. That would have been neat.
