No, but I'm sure there's " no one of them like an old one of them."

Considering how close the "F" key is to the "C" key, if you read it somewhere, it probably was a typo.

It is an oil cooler that is not hooked up. I have one it gives the period correct look however with my 8 quart pan the temps in New england I don't need an actual cooler.

The size of the crankcase has nothing to do with the temperature the oil runs at but everything to do with how quickly it gets up to its eventual temperature.

I would have to think that the 2 gallons of volume in the pan has some effect on the actual operating temperature.
When the oil drains back and mixes with the crankase it has to be a few degrees below block temps.
How much can't answer that however I do know my engine temps in summer usually run 85 to 90C and the oil temps run about 80C.
Last weekend on the Rallye my engine temps ran 80 to 85C and the oil temps never exceeded 60C. The outside temperature was 58 degrees F.
And my oil temp switch is on the side of the oil pan.

I have a real oil cooler on the shelf, just in case. But to maintain the S/C look, I cut up an air conditioner A-Coil to make an Oil Fooler. If I somehow get a rock throught it, I really haven't lost anything. Anyone want to buy a nice, unused real oil cooler?
