Shelby unsuccessfully sued FFR.
Now they call the FFR original in their magazine.
That IS funny.

Real 1,
From your signature line it seems that in essence you have created a replica of an original Cobra from a continuation Cobra.
I would think you would empathize more with your fellow replica builders.
Just my opinion

Mikey, my friend, you know not what you are about to partake in my brother!
Has anyone gone to the store for that beer yet?
We're gonna need it.............depending on Evan's mood. -Perhaps he will give the new guy some slack?
-Naaaaahh!

Good points, Terry.
We're gonna head this one off at the pass. There's just no more patience for this crap left in the tank.
Evan's pomposity has killed another thread. I hope one day he sees beyond the writing on his pink slip. There appears to be no deeper interest on his part beyond that.
Talk about the magazine on this thread....and only the magazine.
thanks

Ok...Its a nice magazine.
"Pomposity"????? Seems to me there were a few posts before mine off topic and implicity knocking Shelby and by extension his Cobras. But I understand, my posts bring a higher level of scrutiny and trip the CC alarms.
No problem.
Mikey: Take TerrySPF's advice before jumping into the wood chipper... but yes, I do have a Continuation Cobra, which whatyda know, Continues the Original Cobra and it happens to "replicate" (as that word is used in Websters) the original series nearly exactly as it must by default otherwise it would'nt be just like it..funny how that works when you have to build new Cobras just like the originals to continue the originals, hmmm..... Now follow me here, but based on how the word is now commonly used and meant in common word usage they (the Continuation series Cobras) are not "replicas". Please refer to the new registry for elucidation. Take it slow here Mikey it is admittedly a little confusing.......... A FFR, however....ah, never mind.....I won't take the next step here for fear of provoking our overly sensative moderators.
Thank you.
Takes care.

"overly sensitive"??????
Naw...just damn tired of the same old BS. You're banned from the thread. Violate that ban...and we'll just take it up several notches.

He's not technically banned. ..just an honor-system ankle-bracelet to stay off this thread.
We are trying the kinder-gentler approach.

Page 121 talks about the 427 car having a 4" square tube frame, I think they are still round. Otherwise that would make them even more accurate to an E.R.A. The mag. makes for good reading and has some good pictures. Got mine at Waldbaums.

There; fixed it for you.
BTW, I bought the mag and it is a very slick piece with lots of great pics, though it is quite the Carroll leg humpfest.

Yes, the CSX 4000 Shelby Cobras have 4" round-tube frames--not square like your ERA . Based on the tone of the article it sounds like this was the author's first time in a Cobra and I suspect he had to stretch to pull together many of the facts for the article (e.g., size and shape of frame).
