Default Bought first cobra yesterday

I bought my first and most likely, only cobra yesterday. It is a contemporary with original style frame, jag suspension, 427 SO with 2 4bbls, and 4 spd top loader. found it on ebay and flew in and bought it for 28k. Car is amazing. I have one pic in my file but am trying to resize some to add more.

Congrats and welcome. I'm looking forward to the photos.

If this is your first encounter with a light weight, high powered, short wheel base car, I urge you to take some time getting to know it before you press hard on the loud pedal. These snakes can bite. ... Good luck.

Congrats on your new baby. I hope to see you at some of the DFW meets. We get out the first Saturday of each month, take a look in the Texas forum for more info. Our next meet will be December 6th where we will be participating in the AER Toy Drive.

Great deal. A freshly built S/O alone isn't far off that money.

And be careful, very very careful, sh**t happens very fast in a big block Cobra.

Cheers

Thanks,
I have driven my neighbors real 427 so cobra but not to its potential. I also have a 500 hp vette I drive. I know what can happen when the tires break loose. I will try to make the dallas december meet. but it will be cutting it close. the car won't be delivered until about the 3rd of December.

Come on out even if the car is not ready. This is a great group of guys. I have been involved with the local group for a year now and I do not have a car. I have learned a lot about several different manufacturers and about the originals. Here in the DCC I was told it is about the people not the cars. The cars are just a common interest to get the people together. Lately, it seems everyone is pointing out every deal out there to me. Too bad I can't yet justify the money.
