Default First purchase from a new vendor: Master Touch

Hello, I purchased a set of the alum side vents from Master Touch thru ebay. The parts arrived and the quality is excellent. I matched the vents to the original parts on CSX2498 and the new parts are an exact duplicate of the original parts. I am almost finished with my build but I will buy more parts from Master Touch as needed.
Regards, Karl

Karl, can you please post a pic and a price? I'm trying to find their web site but not having much luck. Considering removing the polished stainless steel vents on my Superformance in favor of a more raw looking (and correct) aluminum version.

Thanks,

-Dean

I also purchased through e-bay from Master Touch. I bought one of their turkey pans. A very nice piece. His name on e-bay is mastertouch327. Here's the return address that was on the box.

Your 427 is almost finished? I'll have to stop by to see it again sometime.

Did you see Mark's ERA yet? I saw it probably a month or so ago.

"BRIGHT/clear anodized ( to give the appearance of chrome) with a flash coat of clear to maintain the luster." I'm okay with the flash of clear coat, but does the finished product look more like chrome or what the eBay add looks like? [i]I'm considering getting away from the chrome look...that's what the factory SPF louvers look like in a polished stainless steel material.

Heck, maybe I should just take the ones I have off and hit them with a Scotchguard pad or material blast (with powder low gloss clear coat) to get a more brushed aluminum look?

Default alum side vents

Hey Dean, The finish is brushed alum, more dull than shiny. The set cost 62.00 and the quality is excellent. I will try to post a photo. Tom's post is correct, just enter 427 cobra in the search box and you will see the vents & polished cold air box. He will have CSX 427 side pipes next.

Not as finished as I want, getting ready to disassemble to paint the chassis and then start bolting parts & pcs. on for good.

No chance to see the ERA yet.

regards, karl
