Default Looking for FFR owners / buildes in Kansas City

Hey guys,

I have a good friend who has decided to jump in to the Cobra sickness and build a Factory 5. He has built and raced BMWs for years so he knows his way around cars and wants to build a Cobra vs. buying a completed or roller car.

If I can impose on anyone in the Kansas City area to let him see your car and pick your brain for build advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Just respond here if you are interested and I will have Scott register on CC to contact you directly through a private message. Or you are welcome to send me your contact information to me at James@bdpmotorsports and I will forward it on to Scott.

thanks in advance for your help.

Go to www.ffcbra.com and register. Once registered, find the link "Members List". Go to the advanced search function and search by State or City.

Richard at North Race Cars in the KC area builds them professionally. He may or may not be willing to help a home builder. (After all, guys that do it for a living can't afford to give away all of their secrets and time for free) I would contact him anyway and see how open he is to helping. He sells bits and pieces to make up for some of the junk that comes in the kit. He is also a great resource for wheels that fit all the different configurations properly.

Richard was at this years Run and Gun and I believe he would be more than willing to help first timers. Definitely give Richard a call and he does sell some pretty good parts as a side line too.

James,

Mid America Cobra Club is having their monthly meeting in the morning. Have your buddy drop me a line tonight and I'll tell him where it's at.
