Default Cobra e-magazine?

Now that Kit Car Mag is gone, is it time for a cobra e-magazine? It would not take much to put one together. Of course we will use Club Cobra as our forum! The possibilities are endless. A few volunteers, I can put up $$ for the site and lets see what happens. Bring on the comments!

I would think that one of the first things you need to do is establish some guidelines as to what and how articles, pictures, & etc will be received and what is appropriate to be used. If everyone on here sent in their build and car pictures and articles, it would be overwhelming. I think some basic guidelines, and getting a few of the right people to handle different things would be a good place to start. Once you get that laid out, then you could post the guidelines for all of us as to what to submit and if you have different people handling different things, who to submit the articles or pictures to. For example, Clois has experience with this type of stuff and could probably help you a lot.

I'd love to see a car featured each month. Some really good photography and video would really give a unique perspective showing these cars in motion, as well as details...how do the best car builders detail certain things? It could be a great resource for builders looking for the best execution. There is nothing better than an artfully done video showing the beauty of an exotic car in motion with a sound track of V8 engine.

Default e-mag

Guys, its not the money that is the issue from my perspective. It is the time. I have published technical magazines, and now I make my living by writing internet/web applications. The software is not the main expense, some of it can be found for free on the internet, but the time it takes to put a quality product together on a timely basis is substaintial. It could be a great project for someone who is retired.

Just my 2 cents.

As I see it, its either a business or a volunteer operated endeavor. If its a business, the owner will decide how its done to maximize profits. If its a volunteer endeavor, the people who care enough to donate their time will decide how its done. In either case, its not up to people like me who express opinions but don't actually do the work to decide how it should be done.
