Hello.
I am looking for pics on Cobras that is build in retrolook style. I mean Cars that looks like they have run in racing competion in the sixties.
I am interesting in details. And how you have done it?

But it looks like the Gurney/Grant CSX 2323 that raced in the Targa in 1964...if you want to see it, send me your email and I will send you a picture.....or you can see the original CSX 2323 at Bruce Canapa 's in Scotts Valley (you can google the site)

CCX4007 is one of the best retro-comp-look replicas I've seen photo's of.
The wheels not all bright and clean, the white pipes etc... add to the vintage look.

Probably the best way to have that "old race car" look is stand back and throw handfulls of corse sand at it!

Boosted,
Larry was kind enough to attach a pic of my CCX4007, I have quite a few pics of the car from SAAC that include new and more correct meatballs rather than the cheesy static cling things in the pic you see posted here. I would be happy to email you some pics. PM me with your email address.
I too love the early comp look, the corroded old wheels, the old Goodyears, looking like it just rolled off a 12 hour race. I don't even like to wash my car! Doesn't bode well at car shows!

Dave is right, we are the anti-chrome guys as it replicates better however it doesn't do well if you are a car show guy.

The retro or "old style" track look on my old ERA (1980 build) with newer style yellow letter Goodyears.
