Default Superformance Front Spindles

Second Try, Hope this doesn't get a double post...

Can anyone with a Superformance MKIII Cobra tell me if the front spindles are Mustang II/Pinto style. I'm trying to use a Wilwood brake kit that is specified for the Superformance MKIII Cobra for another application but want to make sure that the spindles are the same as what I'm running on my Tiger.

Also anyone using the Wilwood Kit with 15" rims?

Wilwood Part Number for 12.19" Superlite Front Kit 140-9482

Thanks, and sorry if this gets a double post later.

Sandy

There were a couple of variations depending on chassis #. I don't recall that they used MII spindles on the early ones or not. If you are running MII spindles, I'd just get an MII kit. Dennis Olthoff(NC) or Doug Reed(Texas via N.O.) could give you a definitive.

I did some more research and it seems that the kit from wilwood may also be for Pinto/MustangII but the offset for the brake hats are set up for Superformance. But the brackets hopefully will work fine. I ordered a set and I guess worse case is I have to do a return. The Application was for my Tiger that has modified suspension and is currently set up for Dynalites. I wanted some larger brakes for the front and these look like a good fit.

Thanks,

Sandy

I have a set of the Brackets for the Wilwood Superformance kit, if anyone wants to do it themselves shoot me a pm as I'm not going to use them.

Look towards the bottom of the page you will see a shot of the 3 brackets one is the Wilwood.
