Question Cobra info??

I have been going through some pics that were taken over the years and not ever organized( with the exception of box size), and came upon a pic of myself holding my daughter in a street Cobra in about 1979-80. She is now 30, it was at the Street Machine Nationals in Indy and the guy was pretty local. It was a light(pale?) Blue with what appear to be darker Blue stripes. It had the stock front rims, but had bolt on "Turbine" style wheels in the back. I'd have to re-count them, but the wheels were something like 6 bolts( maybe 8) and wider, so they filled up the rear wheel wells.
Can anyone with an old SAAC registry supply any info? If it is still fairly close, we are in mid Il., I thought it might be nice to get a pic of her with the car again...maybe she can hold my young grandson for a similar pic. Not many 1-2 year olds can claim to have been in an original Cobra. We have pics in ours( non original and darker blue), but having a pic with the same car to place beside the old one would be a nice.

If it's the same car as pictured on p. 34-35 in Beki Adam's silly Cobra book, the car was 3241.

I remember seeing this car at SAAC 12 in 1987, still painted "grabber" blue.

Thanks for that info...it's a start. One of my customers has a late 70s-early 80s registry, I'll see what that # comes up with. After posting, I couldn't help but wonder if it was the same car owned by a friend back in '69. He sold it after a long period attempting too and I think he got $5500 for it. It was a street car and since it is close to this area( or was), it has piqued my curiousity on another front. When was the last, excluding the recently released edition, SAAC registry published?

According to the '84 registry,it was originally Red and was repainted the Grabber Blue. It was shown as being owned by Dana Bell in W.Va at that time.
Not sure if he was the owner in '79-'80, but placed a call to the Dana Bell on switchboard, left a message on the machine. Anyone in the W.Va area know him?

It has changed hands a few times since then. Last known to be in Davenport, IA.

And the last registry was released last summer (8/08). Everyone needs several, one near every toilet in the house.
