No Unique forum?
Seems odd to me that there is no forum dedicated to the Unique products. They've been in the business a pretty long time, and seem to have an excellent reputation. I am considering selecting them when I build my roadster.
There is an external website just for Unique, but I'm not sure why that would preclude having one within Club Cobra as well (example, FFR certainly has its own site). Is it simply an overall lack of interest in this marque or perhaps none/not enough Unique owners/builders have asked for it?
Just wondering....

FYI, my two other main interests are ERA and FFR (different approaches!), and they both certainly get plenty of coverage here.
Club Cobra is the best!

I have a Unique #3814 and I love it! I would recommend them to anyone. The quality is outstanding! The Weavers are top notch folks that stand behind their product 100% . You can't go wrong with a Unique so stop by the site and ask questions. The lack of multiple daily postings on the site is probably due to the lack of problems with the Unique Cobra they have been around longer than any of the others. Jump on their site and ask if there are any owners in your area. I'm sure they woould be happy to show you their car. If you happen to ever be in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia stop by and I'd love to take you for a ride and let you take a look at mine.

I live in Pearland, and you can come look at mine if you would like. The Weavers are great to deal with, and I really like the car. (FIA Model)

Heavy traffic on a manufacturer-specific forum isn't necessarily a good thing. Some of that traffic can be relegated to assembly confusion, tech support, non-quality, lack of support from the vendor etc. If you puruse the Unique forum, you won't see much of that at all. Just a bunch of satisfied owners. The Weavers do make a heck of a nice car. They're one if not THE oldest Cobra replica manufacturer on the planet (founded in 1977) and extremely stable. Not true of some of the competition. Their rolling pallet kit isn't a huge challenge to assemble as it's well laid out and complete. Certainly worthy of consideration.

Alan;
This is how to get a Forum for Unique on Club Cobra.
You first have to get the Okay from the Weavers and then email Brent and ask him to add Unique to the Manufactures Forum area.
There are a lot of Unique owners who hang out here, I don't know why it wasn't requested to be added before.
I know I am happy and others who have my same manufacturer as I have are since Brent added it after I requested it.

You bet it is. I printed off materials from their website today, and will peruse it in "the library" some this evening. The Deluxe Pallet Kit looks really appealing to me. Then will try and do an apples/apples comparison with ERA, specifically to figure out comparable costs. My impressions have been that ERA ends up being more pricey than Unique, but I just want to see where that comes into play.
Without question, both of those outfits turn out incredible products.
Thanks all for the replies, it's been real solid.
