WANTED! 351 motor for experiment
Gents,
Hey all you guys in Utah. Anyone know where a 351 motor is? We need one for a mock up to make parts for all you guys!
We are trying to get a turkey pan, alternator bracket, and other parts to fit the 351. We have all the proper stuff for a 427 motor, but guys keep bugging us for parts to make their 351 look more authentic (more like a 427). We are happy to oblige.
Funny, we have plenty of 427's around here and no 351's
HELP!
David

As for "shame" well, very few 351's end up in our 427 cars even though it is a fantastic motor. We actively encourage guys to put 351's in our 289 cars. We are steadily making more and more parts so 351's will fit in our 427 cars. One day we will get around to finishing the exhaust. Hopefully soon. My feeling is guys can put in whatever they want. I think they are all cool.
We are expanding into making parts for other manufacturer's cars now. Guys seem to want nice, quality parts and we are in business to sell parts. Makes me happy to see our parts on ANYONE'S ride.
As for all the 427's around here--they are in cars!
My car,
I guess we could sell the show car.
David

I have pent-roof valve covers for 351W. (bolt on's, not adapted)
I have a dual quad intake (for Holley carbs) for 351W.
I'll be making a bracket to adapt an FE remote oil filter.
The thing I'd like to see most is an honest-to-goodness, bolt-on, functional and accurate looking FE degas tank. Yes, one can alter one for an FE and make it fit but it sure would nice if one was made for a 351W.
Larry
P.S.: David, I'll be sending you another email about the spindle's later.

What are your thoughts about Pentroof for the Boss351? It is possible but it would be nice to have a one peice unit? Might be a challenge project for the masters.

Jeff,
You talking about Pentroof valve covers? We could probably make some really cool, light weight sheet metal ones.

Certainly, they could be billeted. That would be expensive, however, for the billet. If you give me some measurements, then I could tell you about how much they would cost.
Also, they could be made quite nicely in sheet metal that is welded up.
