I am going to edit the above pictures and put captions with them. I was on the phone with a customer and so I just uploaded and posted the pics while I was talking. I wasn't smart enough to post captions at the same time!

David,
Please make mine that I ordered today with the left hand outlet.
I didn't specify at the time. Thanks.

Here they are!
Here is the new small block tank! We got messages from Jegs that our order for the water neck was delayed by weather. Then, I ordered the o-rings from Amazon and they CANCELLED the order! (Amazon can't control their vendors, so I don't blame Amazon for this one. Frankly, I am quite happy with Amazon).
So, I said forget it! And we just made our own o-ring on the water jet.
Here is the tank mounted on 289 motor.

Here is a shot from the other side of the motor. Notice this tank has the original LEFT HAND SIDE outlet. We make them with BOTH RIGHT and LEFT hand outlets. And we make them for 427's and now small blocks as well. I am really happy with this part. It makes the engine compartment look SO much better!

Here is the o-ring we cut out on our water jet this morning. Sometimes you just have to do things yourself to get them done.
In the above picture, Sandwich is smiling because he most graciously volunteered to "allow" us to "use" his car to "test" the new small block tank to make sure it worked! Working at Kirkham has its benefits! You should have seen how fast he ran home an drove his car back when I said OK.
Actually, I couldn't stand how crappy his engine compartment looked so I told him he could have it to put me out of my misery!

Here is a pic from the other side...it just gets uglier. I can see I need to put on my plastic surgeon gloves and give this engine compartment and "enhancement."

Yes, it is. It is really the only way to do it. The holes are much too close to use separate o-rings.

Hey David
Have you tried the new tank just to make sure it doesn't hit the hood when closed?
I will be ordering one hopefully Tuesday.

I would have posted a picture, but the stinker Sandwich took the tank for a "test drive" and didn't come back!
I'll get him to bring his car back in for a pic.

I better add this:
We are sort of back logged on them right now. It will take about a week to get any more out. Which, of course, puts a smile on my face.

Looks very nice Dave, and it's displayed on a REAL small block, not a make believe one. You know what I'm talkin' about
PS: Is there enough of a recess for the thermostat to fit?
