Need recommendation for Cobra transport
Hello Guys,
I tried calling Rich Lacy in regards to transporting a Kirkham from the Tampa area to Southern Ca. and found out he is no longer moving cars.
Any recommendations on someone else?

Intercity - I used them to transport my FIA from CT to CA. Best quote came from them, and they are used frequently by ERA. First class operation. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Here's their link: http://www.intercitylines.com/
Link shows coast-to-coast for $1700.
I think I paid $2400---but gas was more expensive 3 years ago...

Why don't you just fly out and drive it home? Might save yourself about $2K...

You might try the guys at Classic Car Guy. This is a link to their site. http://www.classiccarguy.com/transportation.asp
I would encourage you to insure the car before it leaves on any transporter. The transport carrier generally has insurance coverage but it is their company and their insurance. If you have any problems it is nice to have your insurance on the car working things out with the transport company.
Good Luck with the move.

FedEx Custom Critical. When they delivered my car they had another $2 mil worth of cars inside headed for the Barrett. The truck was spotless and so was my car. All enclosed, fully hydraulic decks. This was #3 with them and I have had zero issues.

Thanks Everybody,
I did call Intercitys and they are competitive and they will be able to work within my schedule.
Three Peaks, I would love to be able to take the time to fly out and drive back, but somebody needs to work to pay for this Toy...
Midwest Classic, The insurance is a great idea, I need to contact you regarding rates. I spoke with the current owner of the car and he wrote the policy through you..

You never heard of Cannonball Run? Should be able to make it home in 12-14 hours, tops! LOL
Congrats on the new car. Drive it like you stole it!
