Great ad, just saw it now for the first time. Says everything it needs to say, without a lot of overproduction.

Nice....

His new show is on at 10:00 p.m. (eastern time) or 9:00 p.m. central time and it is really going to be cool. Did I miss anything else they were trying to tell me?

Great ad!!!

Click on the link and click on the play button/car. You might need some plug-in if don't see the play button.

Great ad! So simple and cool.

Default He picked a ledgendary automotice ICON

There are many many cool cars. But a Cobra is an automotive icon that is in a class by itself. It has and conveys:

Rarity in numbers
exclusivity in cost
ultimate raw brutal power
American excess at is finest
timeless lines
unparaleled sound
functional simplicity

It is the ultimate car representing America at it's best. Truly an American automotive ICON in every sense of the word.

I love Jay for what he's done for our hobby, I love his car and I loved the commercial, but have you guys seen the webcast of him talking about his Cobra on his website? It was the only time he ever irked me -as I felt he was "talking down" a bit to us replica owners, even though his is every bit as fake as mine is...

Jay's car is not an original. It was built by Mark Gerisch of M & L Specialties. It was the only aluminum replica available in the '80's. Leno called us about our car before he decided on the M & L. Interestingly enough, I didn't know who Leno was when he identified himself (I found out later). His show was on well past my bedtime.
