How much does your car weigh??
I turned into the Scrap Metal yard the other day and asked the guy if I could put my car on the scale,even though I did not need a certificate.
He gladly let me see how much the car actually weighs.
2480 lbs.......a little heavier than I had thought but still very average for a Cobra and pretty light by most other cars!!
This was with the softtop in the trunk along with some tools and 10 gallons in the tank!

We have to weigh our Cobras for registration. Mine came in at 1060KG (2337 Pounds). That was with the full rego underbody exhaust on and before the light weight tubular suspension went in. Hopefully it'll be a fair bit lighter than that now.

At the WSCB track in Fernley my car weighed 2689 with a full tank plus my fat a$$.

2600#s with a BBC/aluminum heads, TH400 tranny, 9" Ford, 3/16" wall 2x4 frame. Pretty fat for a Cobra. Oh well.

My new one that I am just finishing up is 1940lbs. Space frame, C5 Corvette LS6 engine, T56 tranny, suspension, brakes, wheels and tires. Light weight body. 48/52 distribution
