Rock/Fender Guards
Hey guys....question for ya. New here and looking for advice. I tried a search and came up with nothing, so hopefully this isn't an old question.
Anyone have any good experience with rock guards? Mine is beginning to show road rash on the rear fenders. I've seen the clear one's and black one's available, but don't know how those would do on a silver car. I loved the look of Jay Leno's chrome one's on his blue Cobra from the super bowl commercial.
Any thoughts?

If you don't have any road rash yet, several company's have clear, in general terms, "spats". Like danc30 said, do a search.
I made leather spats for mine with 3M adhesive tape.
Cover the ENTIRE car.
If you need further help, send me a PM.

It was a temporary spray on bra material.
I don't remember seeing it in the catelogs I get at home. They may have discontinued it. I will double check tonight.

Do a search within CC for 3M.
My car had the 3M Invicta Shield applied when it was brand new by a company near the SPF dealer. It cost $450 and was/is warrantied for 5 years.
Very hard to see the shield, even on my titanium Cobra.
Can you see the shield on the front end or the leading edges of the rear flare?
I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow, I'm bummed out too. That was good stuff. Had I known I would of ordered a couple of cans. I still have the can, when I get home I'll have to get the product number and do a search on their site for it.

Well I have good news and bad news. The bad news is they stopped making it due to not enough demand. The good news is they have 7 cans left (@ 9.99ea) I just ordered 3 for myself. You have to call 800 345 5789 and tell them to check the Tacoma Washington warehouse inventory Item #20264. First come, first serve so good luck and let me know what you think if you get it.

I have the FFR carbon fiber spats on my LS. They fit pretty much perfectly and match the LS' fender contours well. I little key trimming and I was set.

Very cool....I like those. Can I order from FFR? Think they'll fit my E-M? I would think they have enough flex to allow for any differences??

I think they're around 75 bucks for the pair from FFR, check their site. All you can do is try them as I did.

I paid $10 for the vinyl & around $15 for the 3M adhesive strips. A little sewing on the edges and they work well.

Anyone know where to get a pair of stainless spats? Seems I remember a thread about them but it sort of fizzled.
