Default Powder coating intake question

I do my own powder coating and have done two engines. They came out pretty good. I wanted to powder coat the intake for my Kirkham. The other engines were either shiny and the 2nd had a gray intake. I'm not sure which color to use on my kirkham so it won't be too shiny. Any ideas? I do want it some type of alum/silver color

No matter which color you choose you may want to spend some time removing casting flash from the intake with a moto-tool first.
Then you can use a satin-finish powder or 4-0 steel wool on the glossy finish to tone it down.
Your car looks great, I would Not use a chromey, shiney finish.

Default Powdercoat

Check out the Hotcoat from Eastwood called blasted aluminum. Its the closest thing I have found to natural looking aluminum that doesn't go gray or end up looking to silver, or to shiny.

How about a hammertone finish? In the right place, it can look really good.

I used Argent Silver from Eastwood on an intake for a friend. It looked about like chrome: it looked good.
