Default need a glass windshield

Hi Guys,
I need a new windshield for a customer who is restoring his Cobra. I also need the lower rubber seal on the frame too. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rich Dominguez

I have had a Lexan for 20 yrs,,the double scratch resitant one. I used it with the wipers a lot..no scratches. I even had an accident in which a tree branch would have gone through and probably killed me if I had ha a glass windshield. I never have experienced vibration, probably because when installed in the frame I used Silicone all the way around..so it also does not leak.Over 100 mph you can see the windshield flex, especially if the mirror is mounted to the windshield. I broke 2 glass screens first befor putting in the Lexan. In SA we do a roadworthy....like the Aussies and I took a piece of Lexan and a 4 lb hammer and told the inspector to please break the piece...impossible... so they passed my screen and a lot of subsequent ones.

I just found a new crack in my windshield. The Lexan windshield sounds
interesting. Does anyone know where I can get a Lexan windshield for a
FFR mk 3 roadster in Southern California?

I've never measured the thickness, but it's the standard Cobra replica glass and frame, chrome over brass.

I have found that cracks are somtimes formed from the screws on the perimeter of the winshield assy. contacting the glass and scoring the glass. I had to grind down several screws after rechroming my original frame and fitting a new glass windshield into the frame. The frame screws cannot come into contact with the glass.

Replacing my cracked glass windshield with Lexan MR10 was the best idea. Never have to worry about it again.
