Zoop Seal ?
I haven't tried this product yet but, I will. Most people I talk to about "Zoop Seal is great.
http://www.zoops.com/zoopseal.asp
I talked to one guy today that said he polished his parts, applied zoops and has not polished them in 6 years. I'll see what happens.
Has anyone else tried this product ?

Used it on everything aluminum on my car. It sits int he garage all winter. I have not done the wheels yet and they will need a serious cleaning this spring. All the other aluminum engine parts look great.
Definitely worth the money. Eastwood used to have a good deal on a kit. They gave you about 50% more sealer for the same price.

About a year and a half. My brother has had his on for two years and everything still looks great. I'd have to look, but I think they recommend applying it again every 2 years.

Fun,
I use this stuff on the Alcoa wheels on my service trucks.
For that application, there is nothing better. Zoop seals the pores of the aluminum and prevents icky road foo foo from damaging the appearance of th wheels. I have one truck that now has seen 5 winters, and the wheels STILL look great. Soap and water takes the road dirt off, and no salt damage.
I am going to try and zoop my induction system when I get the car home (it's coming home next week).

I wonder if this product would work on stainless steel side pipes ?
Maybe the pipes would get too hot ?

I used Zoop Seal on my aluminum CSX and it worked well. The trick is to apply it "sparingly" and try not to overlap in highly visible areas.
I tried it on my SPF pipes and it didn't work well. They looked "splotchy" after they heated up a few times, so beware!
