Thanks Night Enforcer, good point I will look at that. Luckily no other damage ecept a stuffed brake pad and bent caliper bracket. Still $800 labour to fix.

Madmaxx, thanks for the compliment. New Zealanders are just a bit different ;-)Thanks also for the other things to check, I have had the 'wheel rubbing squeak' so I hope that sorts it out.

I just had exactly the same problem on my spf2846 yesterday. Checked other side front and found them just finger loose. None of them had lock tite. Are these guys nuts?? I thought I was lucky I didn't get killed because I was only going 20 at the time. Stephen in Reno installed my engine, but roller came from inventory at Lance Stander's place in irvine, CA

SCOF posted a service bulletin that owners of chassis 2800+ should check the front and rear brake caliper bolts. Locktite may not have been applied to the bolts at the factory.
