FINALLY, my Cobra hits the road!
So after 'only'7 years I finally got my Cobra titled and registered yesterday.
I bought the car in the UK back in 2002 and moved it to Ireland where some assembly took place. I then moved to the US and the poor thing sat in a barn in Tipperary for 5 years. It made the trip to Florida last summer and I have spent the last few months finishing it.
The gals at the Vehicle Licensing Office were angels and I now have my Gardner Douglas on the road.
The five years spent in Ireland have taken their toll and I will be removing the body this coming summer to get the frame powder coated again but the focus now is to put some miles on it.
You might say I am somewhat happy!
Paul
