Stainless steel brake line / fitting question

I'm trying to get the rear brake lines in the Contemporary flared, bent and fitted. I bought a Classic Tube stainless 3/16" line fit with fittings. One thing I didn't think of at purchase was that the rear calipers use bubble flares. I have the bubble flaring tool, this is no problem. The problem is that the only 3/16" bubble flare fittings I have are not stainless. Will these work anyway to make a good seal, or is there some reason other than appearance that I need to use a stainless bubble flare fitting with a stainless line? Of course it's Sunday and all the import parts stores are closed. I would like to get started on this but I need to know if I can proceed or if the rest of the day is wasted without stainless bubble flare fittings. That's assuming that I can even find them locally tomorrow, who knows how common these things are in stainless..... Any info is appreciated, thanks.

Advance Auto carries bubble flaired fittings and lines in various sizes and lengths. They're open Sundays late and are cheap. However they are mild steel. They work very well and don't rust unless you park in a dirt or gravel parking lot. Did I mention they are very cheap?

Speedway has everything you need to make SS brake lines.. There 37 Deg..

767Jockey Doug All the places above have both metric and standard brake lines in 6-52" lengths. If they are too long just add a loop in the line to take the differents up. Sometimes it's too much of a pain to try and make the perfect line run. I got all my small lines from Pepboys and modified them from there. Rick As long as the lines are seamless steel the rest is up to you. I think you will find out the stainless is only a coating and not the complete line material. You can spray paint it to get the look you want, just keep the brake fluid off the paint.
