Default Help with carb jetting and e10 gas

California gas 91 octane e10
428 fe
10 to 1 comp
800 holley double pumper
Autolite 3923 plugs
Cant get the plugs to the light brown color
They are either clean or black depending on jets
Started with 72 primary and 85 secondary
Now 75 primary and 87 seconardy
I go one size up too black
I go one size down to clean
Getting close on color, but cant get it right.
Is it me, or just the gas?

Has anyone had luck jetting their carb with CA 91 octane e10 gas? I dont want to switch to no alcohol gas.

Any suggestions?

Garry: On a Holley the jets only meter the MAXIMUM amount of fuel the carb will flow. The unleaded fuel has a very difficult time coloring the plugs. You may want to reduce the Idle Feed Restriction in the primary metering block. Keep in mind the Double pumpers are competition carbs and everything about them is jetted rich.

This may sound stupid but I was gonna tune mine on a dyno w/a sniffer in exhaust. For 150-200 bucks it mite be worth it ,no?
