Thumbs up One step backwards two steps forward-nice for a change

For a change I actually took one step back and got two steps forward in the cosmetic resurrection of FFR4760.

Body is off (last Saturday), blocked, filled, sanded, and now in primer/sealer

Unlike the last time I got this far with my last FFR, my plan is to paint the car this coming Friday the 21st of March (With or without a buyer) before the shop gets too busy for me to do so.

Exclamation

Bill,

It is looking good so far. What color do you intend to paint it and will you put stripes on it?

Already looks better. You should leave it just like that.

For resale I'd stick with one of the classic colors (Blue, red, etc..), and most people when they think of Cobras think of one with stripes. Make it too different and you'll limit the market, but you know all that already!
Good luck, looks real good so far.

Bill,

I wish I had known you before I bought my Cobra.

The primer I used dries to a shine, had someone in to pick up their car today ask me "why did you pick gray for your car"........He was a little embarrassed when I told him that it was just the primer........

You know, an FFR body doesn't look nearly as bad when it's completely off the chassis....

Absolutely not. I'm afraid you're going to give yourself a coronary as is.
