Congrats! How long did it take from start to finish? Obviously, Jody must have been there. Only one quick consultation? That's great. I think my person had to consult two or three times. Probably on how much more grief that wanted to put me through.

Walked in the door at about 9:30a, walked out, plates in hand at about 10:30a.

Yeah, Baby! Yeah!

Doug ... all done, way to go!

Put those plates on and take a long drive (when the weather clears up). Maybe you can get Cameron back out there with you

After a week of in & out of the hospital, the whole family is pretty exhausted. I squeaked in a little Cobra tweak time to install the license plate bracket and plate, but my "Cobra - Shelby American" license plate bracket from Mustangs Unlimited is en route and will have to be put on later.

If the weather is good tomorrow, I'll take it out for a bit.

What a week: Tuesday the CHP inspection; Wednesday the BAR; and , Friday the filing of the paperwork and receipt of plates. Additionally, in the hospital Tuesday night, Wednesday night, and finally Thursday night---each night until 10 or 11, and then back at work by dark-thirty the next morning.

G-dspeed man. We wish you and your family the best.

It was a proud moment for me to install my license plate, after the DMV Habitrail.

Had a chance to make a quick run last night. I had fixed an annoying squeak that was due to my Halon system copper line rubbing against an aluminum panel, and had to take it out for a "test drive". Fixed the squeak.

Incidentally, Cameron is doing great this morning. He's up and running around, jumping off the furniture. You wouldn't even think this kid had a high fever 2-3 days ago.

Thanks for the best wishes, and thanks for the helpful information that helped me get through the final throes of California registration---in less than a week!

Doug,

Glad to hear that Cameron is back up to speed.

Now that the paperwork is complete what's next ... paint?

Paint, perhaps this Fall. Part of last week was waiting to find out if my position was "at risk" or not. If it had been, I would have found out by 5pm last Friday---and would have been looking for a job.

So, I'm still employed, and insured---which, with Cameron's Leukemia, is key.

Now that the Cobra is alive and kick'n (and legally registered, and insured...), I'll temporarily turn my attention to some remodel efforts on the house.

Then comes the paint.

I'm still thinking black, no stipes. Silver is a distant second. Fire engine red is a maybe, possibly, perhaps.
