Intermitant fuel pressure
I have a Weber set up using a Carter M6904 mechanical fuel pump. On the way home the car starts to cut out. I pull over and it starts, but as soon as I start to pull away it sputters and dies. I start it again and look at the fuel pressure guage and it's reading 0! I was able to nurse it home. The fuel pump has less than 300 miles on it. I pulled it off and worked the lever I had pressure comming out, but very little suction going in. Took it apart and the diaphrams look good, no holes. I could not check the 3 valves that are pressed in the housing. New pump on order.
