Default Just put inthe new Lexan windshield

Well...after a whole bunch of humming and hawwing I decided that it was more grief than it was worth to put in a new glass windshield.(Im in Canada and had to order one from the states) Drag...

Soooo.off to the local supplier and pick up a 5X2 piece of MR10 Margaurd Lexan.
This is going to be sweet I thought. 130.00 VS probably 600 after all was said and done with the Glass.
Well let me just say that getting the glass out of the fame (Ablsolute PITA)..then fabricating the new one and installing it was a bit of a job.

It is now in...looks great and I will give everybody some input into scratching etc as I have heard many variatuons in success...BUT very happy to have done it myself and it only cost me 140 bucks. Plus I have enough MR10 left for some new wind wings...( just cause I can)
P.S Its ALOT harder than one might think ...but I could do another now very quick and easy)

Cheers!

I had mine in for about two years and no scratches until last year at Run n Gun when I we put the shoe polish on the windshield with my time on it for the drags. I left in on the windshield about a day to long and had to do some serious scrubbing to get it off. I ended up with a few scratches on the passenger side.

Solution is to remove the shoe polish off your lexan windshield at the end of any event with soap and water.
